Inspired by a European fairytale in which a girl’s hopes and prayers to get happiness are answered by a blue bird, the “Blue Bird” has been more than answer to a prayer. It has fulfilled the aspirations of not only the founder, the late Mrs Mutiara Djokosoetono, but also of the thousands of employees in the corporate family.

Back in 1972, well before Jakarta became a cosmopolitan city of 12 million people, Blue Bird had been there. The actual embryo of the group was the Golden Bird, then known as Chandra Taksi, a car rental service catering to journalists and other visitors to the country. Before long, the company earned a number of recommendations that helped in applying for a license to operate a taxi company.

Young Blue Bird’s first goal had been to provide quality transportation services non-existent in Jakarta at the time. Blue Bird became the pioneering taxi company to implement the strict use of taximeters and radio communications on air-conditioned vehicles. Several service stations were also set up in Jakarta to support daily operations of such vehicles.

From Blue Bird taxis and Golden Bird limousine and car rental, next came Big Bird (1979) with its charter buses, and more recently the Silver Bird Executive Taxi (1993). Over the past decade, Blue Bird Group has seen a rapid expansion in all four business divisions and Blue Bird Group is today more integrated than ever with services extended throughout parts of Indonesia.

From a humble beginning of just 25 taxi cabs in 1972, Blue Bird Group has gone through numerous trials and extensions to reach a current fleet of around 21,000.

WORKSHOP MANAGER / SERVICE MANAGER ENGINEERING (CODE: SMT)
  • Ability to lead and manage the workshops for maintenance and auto repair s / d 1000 fleet with more than 60 mechanics.

  • Having experience as an Automotive Service Manager at least 3 years.
ENGINEERING Assistant Manager (CODE: AMT)
  • Minimum D3 any majors,

SECRETARY (CODE: SEK)
  • Education secretary minimal D3,
