PT. Bank Dipo International was founded in 1990. Business license granted by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia by the Minister of Finance Decree No.. 668/KMK/013/1991 dated July 1, 1991 and started commercial operations on September 9, 1991.

Changes from previous name of PT. Dipo International Bank to PT. Bank Dipo International conducted in 1995 following the Government advice in the use of Indonesian language that is good.

Bank Dipo International currently has 5 branch offices in Jakarta and a branch office in Medan, supported by 170 staff outside the Board.

POLICY MANAGEMENT:
  • In the Indonesian Banking Architecture (API) Bank set to become the focus of the bank for financing SME sector.
  • Implementation of operational banking transactions done by prioritizing the principles of prudence.
  • Bank is committed to maintaining a low level of NPLs. Efforts to improve productive assets through restructuring and legal approach with a clear target completion date so that it can provide more certainty in the settlement of non performing loans.
  • From the collection of funds, accumulation funds sought are not concentrated in certain groups. The strategy pursued may be made by:
  1. Optimization of funding activities by providing a clear and realistic targets to all marketing officer and the evaluation on a regular basis every month.
  2. Expansion of the Network Office.
  3. Utilization of the potential customer base that comes from a group of business and customer base that has been owned by the Bank.
  4. Improving the quality of service.
  5. To avoid the occurrence of short fund contingency fund is necessary to take steps to maintain facilities such as MML to a number of banks and try to utilize the facility on a regular basis even though the Bank Dipo until now had never experienced shortage of liquidity.
As a banking institution that is trusted by the Government in managing public funds, management realized that public confidence in the Bank Dipo International in addition to depending on the Bank's performance and capabilities in managing risk, also required the existence of an attitude of professionalism, independence, integrity and transparency of the committee on information relating to financial and non financial condition to the public, but it is certainly with no obligation at all to reduce to meet the confidentiality provisions of the Bank in accordance with applicable banking regulations.

Embodiment of thought can only be implemented if the Bank in conducting its activities always apply the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), which covers five basic principles as below:
  • First, the transparency (transparency), ie openness in expressing material and relevant information and transparency in implementing the decision making process.
  • Second, accountability (accountability), namely clarity of function and implementation of the accountability of banks so that the management organs operate effectively.
  • Third, accountability (responsibility) that bank management compliance with applicable laws and regulations and the principles of sound bank management.
  • Fourth, the independence (independency) of bank management in a professional manner without any influence / pressure from any side.
  • Fifth, equity (fairness), namely justice and equality in meeting stakeholders' rights arising under the agreement and legislation in force.
