Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Streamlining existing systems for achieving enhanced operational efficiency, productivity and improved product quality, resulting in increased satisfaction levels.
Formulating pre-planned developmental strategies for achievement of goals and targets by identifying & developing new avenues for long term growth.
Achieving efficiency and utilization as per budget by reducing idle time and changeover time.
Production Operations
Leading the Finishing Area for Tube production and attaining the monthly targets by assigning targets and tracking progress against targets by analyzing daily reports.
Overseeing maintenance and 5S implementation on the shop floor and troubleshooting.
Coordinating with the other departments for smooth functioning and optimum output in finishing area and accomplishing production as per customers’ requirement.
Finalizing preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure optimum performance
Leading the team of technical staff & providing technical support for maintenance to ensure smooth operation especially during the production ramp up period.
Product Development
Ascertaining requirements of clients for development activities & interfacing with vendors for cost effective, timely sourcing of quality material.
Developing products as per predefined specifications. Undertaking testing/ inspection, identifying defects & making relevant modifications.
Ensuring in process compliance by monitoring processes, identifying any defects and making changes.
Quality Management Systems
Ensuring adherence to the quality standards as per ISO API ARMCO and overseeing implementation of various stages of workflow using quality tools.
Implementing World Class Manufacturing Practices on shop floor, effectuating PPAP, TS 16949 and Six Sigma measures etc.
Maintaining quality level as per targets given by the customers and targets given in the business plan and generating Kaizen ideas / ideas for Poka Yoke.
Value Engineering / Cost Reduction
Analyzing various processes / applications and recommending process modifications and equipment calibrations to enhance operational efficiency.
Identifying capacity limitations & bottlenecks and process problems, plant upset reasons for taking corrective action.
Undertaking Root cause analysis of problems and developing effective counter measures initiating Kaizen/ Improvement Ideas generation & implementation.
DURING PROJECT PHASE
Resource planning.
Installations & commissioning of equipments.
Performance testing of equipments
Setup a Competitive operation team to run the plant.
MES and SAP Implementation & Operation readiness
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Operative & Setup Skill; Maintenance & Quality Skill [ARMCO, APL5L 5CT]; General Skill [Operation Monitoring, Critical Thinking, Coordination, Judgement & Decision Making, Equipment Selection, Instructing], and Handling Measuring Equipments
• Required language(s): English
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Saudi Arabia.
• Preferably Coordinator/Supervisors specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
